WHES Commissions First PC-G2 Energy Storage System in Germany in Collaboration with Tesvolt

WHES Energy Storage Systems has successfully commissioned its first PC-G2 commercial and industrial energy storage system in Germany, marking an important milestone in the company’s European deployment strategy. The project was realized together with** Tesvolt** and represents the first operational installation of WHES’s next-generation modular storage platform in the German market, where the company has also established a strong distribution partnership with BayWa r.e. Germany.

This project demonstrated how easy installation and commissioning of WHES’ scalable battery energy storage systems can be.

Description

A Modular System Built for Real-World Energy Needs

The newly commissioned PC-G2 Energy Storage System delivers a power range of 62.5 - 250 kW with 509 kWh capacity, designed to support a wide variety of C&I applications. Its modular AC/DC architecture allows the system to be configured with 2-, 4-, or 8-hour storage durations, enabling flexible deployment depending on site requirements.

This design approach allows the solution to scale seamlessly - from medium sized commercial facilities to larger industrial environments - while maintaining installation simplicity and operational reliability.

Key applications include:

• Peak shaving and valley filling
• Load shifting and frequency regulation
• Self-consumption optimization
• Integration with EV charging infrastructure
• Energy trading

Grid-Ready for European Markets

The PC-G2 system is certified according to VDE 4110, ensuring smooth grid integration across European networks and compliance with stringent grid connection standards.
By combining modular hardware architecture with advanced control capabilities, the system supports businesses in optimizing their energy usage, reducing peak demand costs, and enabling greater integration of renewables.

Description

Strengthening European Collaboration

The commissioning also highlights the collaboration between WHES Energy Storage Systems and Tesvolt in delivering reliable, scalable storage solutions to the European market.

As demand for flexible energy infrastructure continues to grow, Tesvolt Energy continues to recognize huge potential of BESS, connecting them to the grid-bundled as a VPP and traded by the best traders on the market to secure highest revenue streams.

With the successful deployment of the first PC-G2 system in Germany, WHES continues expanding its presence across Europe, supporting partners and customers with advanced energy storage technologies designed for real-world performance and long-term scalability.
