WEIHENG ECACTUS 's TIANWU AIO 100kW/233kWh received the EREC G99 certificate of compliance (COC)
On June 13, 2024, during the 17th SNEC2024, WEIHENG ECACTUS celebrated another significant achievement: the TIANWU AIO 100kW/233kWh received the EREC G99 certificate of compliance (COC) from Intertek.
This certification highlights the TIANWU 100kW/233kWh commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage system’s (BESS) all-in-one cabinet robust capability to connect to the grid in Commonwealth countries. The certificate was presented by Mr. Li Yifeng, Sales Director of Intertek’s Northeast China region, and accepted by Mr. Sun Pengfei, Vice President of WEIHENG ECACTUS, who expressed gratitude for Intertek’s support and guidance throughout the certification process.

The TIANWU 100kW/233kWh C&I BESS all-in-one cabinet integrates an energy storage converter, battery, BMS, EMS, thermal management, and fire safety systems, greatly simplifying installation and maintenance processes. The series uses CATL battery modules combined with an advanced safety design and the PANGU OS smart energy management system, significantly enhancing battery performance and lifespan. Multiple units can be directly paralleled to achieve scalable energy storage systems. Receiving the EREC G99 certification indicates that WEIHENG’s C&I BESS products meet international standards and are well-suited for various grid connection scenarios, especially in the United Kingdom markets.
The EREC G99 standard, issued by the Energy Networks Association (ENA), represents the gas and electricity transmission and distribution network operators in the UK and Ireland. The EU Commission’s regulation on network standards coordination (known as the Requirements for Generators or RfG) has been incorporated into GB distribution and grid codes. EREC G99 fully complies with RfG requirements and includes additional requirements for connecting to the GB power system. Compared to the previous G59 standard, the new EREC G99 standard is more stringent, particularly for generation projects of 1MW and above. Generators must have capabilities for frequency response, fault ride-through, rapid fault current injection, voltage control, and variable reactive power. It introduces new performance specifications for connection and protocol processes to ensure grid fault stability, such as frequency, voltage, and power factor, and to optimize power quality. These requirements underscore the TIANWU series’ advanced technological iterations and its ability to adapt to multi-country grid connection scenarios.
