Thomas Tools has been serving the oil industry of the Gulf Coast states since 1961. Our company originated as a single location down-hole tool specialty company. Since then we have become a leader in the rental tool industry. We currently have locations in New Iberia, Louisiana and Victoria, Texas (Coming soon - Corpus Christi, Texas), along with sales locations in Houston, Texas and Dallas, Texas and New Iberia, Louisiana. We have operations personnel and management with an average of thirty years experience and a customer base that includes over 200 active customers. However, Thomas Tools has always and will continue to operate with the philosophy of a family business.In 1986, Thomas Tools was the first to initiate the development of High Torque drill pipe in the United States. Shortly thereafter, through our efforts, we were able to increase the torsional strength of high-torque connections with what is now called the Thomas Tools feature. In addition to this advancement, we were also instrumental in the development and manufacturing of the first high-torque double shouldered refacing tools with the original concept and initial design being given to Baker Hughes Tubular Services by us.

We consider our ordering specifications and our inspection procedures to be among the major componints in Thomas Tools' success.
