Agri-Empresa also operates an LCM (lost circulation material) plant. This process involves grinding, sizing, blending, and packaging an array of LCM products. In addition to the bagging and grinding operation, Agri-Empresa is a distributor of many specialty chemicals used in the oilfield, and performs warehousing and handling for specialty chemical and proppant companies. Through these various operations, Agri-Empresa provides over 140 oilfield chemicals from one source. To satisfy its customers' needs, the company maintains an average of 2 million dollars in inventory. Customers can mix truckloads allowing them to cut inventory and shipping costs. This combination of services permits Agri-Empresa to serve as a one-stop source for oil field companies. Agri-Empresa's volume and packaging services enable it to pass purchasing economics through to its customers and allows customers to purchase only their required amounts.
Founded in 1977,
Agri-Empresa, Inc. is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor
of chemicals used in oil field and industrial applications. Begun as a
delivery service for packaged potassium chloride, by 1980 it comprised
its own 3,000-square foot bagging operation. In 1985 the LCM plant was
added in response to the growing product lines and customer base. Two
years later, the Company added its own fleet of tractor / trailers, leading
to the founding of Agri-Empresa Transportation. Since then Agri-Empresa
has founded other internal companies, including Lonestar Distribution,
Inc. and Superior Packaging & Distribution, Inc. The company is headquartered
in Midland, Texas with five branch locations in Abilene, Jacksboro, and
Houston, Texas, and in Carlsbad and Hobbs, New Mexico.
